NATURE’S PIC OF THE WEEK! – Orbea variegata

G’day everyone,

Here is ‘Nature’s Pic of the Week’!

Stapelia are just one of the many unusual plants that make all horticulturists excited. Over the last 18 months I have been collecting a few different species to add to my collection. This is the flower of Stapelia variegata, which like many plants has gone through a taxonomic name change. The scientific name is now Orbea variegata. Once the flower buds have opened to reveal these stunning but stinky flowers they will last for about a week.
