National Tree Day

National Tree Day

Did you plant a tree? If not, how about a small seedling? Because today is the day to give back to the environment and enjoy the outdoors.

Today the 29th of July is declared Nation Tree Day!

What a great opportunity to inspire and share the knowledge of plants to both the older and younger generations. The power of planting trees can help encourage a better understanding of our natural landscape and vegetation.

National Tree Day is one of the biggest nature care and tree planting events in Australia. Communities, families and schools come together to give back to the environment by planting thousands of trees. Just by planting one tree you are helping to improve the health and wellbeing of the environment, whilst helping improve the natural habitat for our native animals. Last year up to 1 million native Australian trees were planted! So help out this year to break the record.

Hopefully this National Tree Day you managed to give back, if not, it is never too late to start planting.
