Tesselaar Gardening and Plants expo

This is my second time going to the Tesselaar Gardening and plant expo, which is held in Silvan, Monbulk. I must say it is always a joy going to these types of expos. The store holders are always friendly and very open-minded to conversation.

This expo is defiantly all about the bulbs, buying them cheap and in vast numbers. The pricing is also very good, so if you are looking into buying a large number of bulbs; it is always best to shop at these types of events. For one very good reason, you will be saving money! Which in my own case was very much appreciated. I managed to snap up 100 tulips for $66.00, when in nurseries a pack of 10 retails for $14.95.

But lets not forget the other stalls beside Tesselaar. Each and every store had a lot to offer, from bulbs, perennial, annuals, aquatic plants, eatables, garden ornaments and ornamental plants. Which made it very easy to shop around and snap up the good bargains. What I personally enjoyed the most was that, none of the stalls are repetitive in what they have to offer. Which defiantly made this expo more enjoyable compared to others.

Tesselaar Gardening and plant expo is a great family day out; good food and coffee is available. With the added entertainment of music and listening to the experts speak. The grounds are also fun to explore for inspiration, with the added fairy garden, which will entertain the kids. I’ll defiantly be attending again next year to hunt down some more good buys.
